Our team have received a new Response Vehicle to replace the Loan car that was lent to us from
HWCFR: Ross-on-Wye over the past year.
The new vehicle has been funded by a joint venture from Arrive Alive Charity & Herefordshire Freemasons. It has been provided to us to enable our team to continue to respond to 999 emergencies across the wider Ledbury area.
Although we do not own the car, we do cover the insurance, MOT, servicing and all the day to day running costs. Without valuable donation and sponsors, this makes it difficult to keep on the road. We always appreciate any support however big or small.
If you are interested in assisting our team then get in touch, we look forward to hearing from you.
On Jan 26 we provided a free session to the community of Colwall, held at their Village Hall.
The session saw 20 residents undertake awareness training in: CPR | How to use an AED | Life Threatening Bleed Control.
The Ledbury scheme is now operating within the Ledbury & surrounding area, responding to emergencies and starting to train the community.
A small team for now, but with growth expected over time.
We thank all those who have supported our Charity to relaunch the Ledbury scheme and get us going once again.
With the re-launch of our scheme here in Ledbury, we are looking for donations to get the wheels rolling.
We have been very kindly loaned a response vehicle from our neighboring scheme in Ross-on-Wye, but need funds to pay for its on-going costs. We are also looking to gain funding to purchase training equipment to provide free CPR & Bleeding Control sessions to our community.
